I’m Nova (she/her) - a multidimensional neurocomplex intuitive adventurer with an undying devotion to healing and studying the human experience.
I believe that we are time travelers; I’m endlessly fascinated by pulling the non-linear thread of time, place, and healing with the intent of cultivating individual and collective liberation. As a Human Design 3/6 Generator, I never really understand something to the depths that I crave until I live it myself. Depths, roots, and ancestry are important to me as the owner of a fourth house four-planet + the IC Scorpio stellium. The earlier part of my lifetime has been shaped by this experiential learning and cultivating the appreciation of suffering and resilience as a gateway to healing. My own profound personal healing experiences form the foundation of how I hold space for my clients. I am forever learning and you are a part of my learning.

BA Anthropology and Film Studies - I worked in environmental archaeology and at the same time made short avant-garde documentaries studying human behavior at flea markets and yard sales. My interests and curiosity never really fit into one box.
BSN Nursing – I’m a Nurse specializing in end of life care. I have held roles in hospice, oncology, and neuro oncology during my time as a practicing nurse. I support Medical Aid in Dying and have had the honor of working with those choosing this option while on hospice.
Reiki Master – 17 years ago my infant son first taught me energy healing while nursing him in a rocking chair. That led to pursuing formal Reiki training, which in turn changed the course of my life.
Community Herbalist and Holistic Healer – I am in love with plants, our teachers and ancestors. Daily herbal infusions, ceremony, plant spirit medicine, and flower essences have offered beautifully simple and profound healing in my life. I formally entered a relationship with the plants through my studies at Florida School of Holistic Living.
I’ve attended specialized training on KAP or Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy for licensed practitioners and am a proponent for the advancement and legalization of Psychedelic Assisted Therapy in end of life spaces. I’m also a proponent of pairing spiritual coaching with medically prescribed IV and at home ketamine. These are powerful tools that allow for spiritual and emotional processing of grief. As a former Oncology Nurse, I have been in the room with many patients receiving an unexpected terminal diagnosis, and after the doctor left, it was my job to hold the container for the immediate shock; to provide education and guidance on supportive resources, treatment options, and all the questions they couldn’t form when the doctor was in the room. As a former Hospice Nurse I have walked beside those who actively processed their death in ways most meaningful to them, those who found a sense of peace in inevitability, those who pretended death wasn’t happening, and those who wrestled with their shadows and fear until the vey end. I am no stranger to holding space for death and grief.
These experiences, as well as my own personal relationship with death, health, injury, illness, and healing lead me to my work as a Death Doula, End of Life Coach, and Grief Coach. The Nine Keys School of Death Arts and Death Midwifery program showed me the bridge to creating sustainable futures for those in death care, myself included. It was pivotal in providing the framework and the permission to grieve the losses I experienced personally and via vicarious trauma as a nurse. The exploitative experiences that myself and many other nurses specializing in end of life care have endured while supporting the Western Medical Industrial Complex drive my passion for reform of this broken system. We can do better for those that care for our dying, and for our loved ones and humanity as a whole. I’m passionate about helping nurses and medical professionals working in end of life spaces find the support they need to create new sustainable paradigms. I’m passionate about normalizing death and grief education, bringing the death taboo to light, and rejecting the machination of the human form in capitalistic and patriarchal systems.
